Windsor, Conn. – Behavioral healthcare provider Community Health Resources (CHR) has been selected as a beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the month of November 2022.

The Stop & Shop Community Bag Program, which launched in May 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

CHR was selected as the November beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Stop & Shop located at 1095 Kennedy Road, Windsor. CHR will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during November, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

“We are thrilled to have been chosen again this year as a Community Bag Program beneficiary,” said Heather Gates, CHR’s President and CEO. “Community support is crucial to CHR’s mission and ability to provide our services for children, families and adults whose lives have been touched by mental illness, addiction or trauma in Connecticut. We hope you can support us this month by purchasing a reusable bag at the Windsor location.”
