It’s hard to imagine living through the pandemic without a place to call home, especially for children and teens. That’s why CHR is so proud to continue to provide therapeutic foster care services through the Functional Family Therapy-Foster Care (FFT-FC)
model in northeastern Connecticut.
CHR’s program helps children and teens find safe, loving families to help them navigate the challenges of growing up. For families fostering youth, CHR provides a daily stipend to cover costs such as food, clothing and school supplies, as well as multiple training opportunities, respite care and 24/7 access to trained case managers. This month, during National Adoption Month
, CHR recognizes the thousands of children and teens in need of homes right now and honors the families that have grown through adoption.
