WINDSOR, Conn. – For the 12th year in a row, nonprofit behavioral healthcare provider Community Health Resources (CHR) was named a Top Workplace among large employers in CT!
“Being named a Top Workplace is a tremendous honor and even though we’ve been on this list for 12 consecutive years, it’s not something we ever take for granted,” said Heather Gates, President and CEO. “I’m so proud of this designation, and grateful to our staff for participating in the Top Workplace survey earlier this year.”
Awards were announced during last night’s Top Workplaces Reception, hosted by the Hartford Courant. The annual awards are based on anonymous data collected by more than 22,800 Connecticut employees. This year, 59 organizations of different sizes were honored as Top Workplaces.
CHR has now been recognized by USA TODAY, Newsweek, and the Hartford Courant as a national and state 2025 Top Workplace, as well as a 2025 Nonprofit Top Workplace. Heather Gates, President and CEO, has also had the honor of being recognized as part of the Hartford Business Journal’s 2025 C-Suite and Lifetime Achievement Award honorees, as well as receiving the Top Leader award through the Top Workplaces survey on three occasions since 2016.
