Hi Everyone,
Thank you to everyone who has already participated in the Virtual 5K or signed up for the “last chance” 5K run and walk this Saturday at Evergreen Walk in South Windsor! We deeply appreciate your support for CHR. Here are the details about the event:
- What: The goal of Saturday’s event is to thank our generous sponsors, host a “last chance” 5K run or walk, enjoy music, refreshments and have fun! While it is a “fun run,” we will offer cash prizes for the fastest runners.
- Where: The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk in South Windsor. We will begin and end at Evergreen Park, which is adjacent to LL Bean. The race course will follow the sidewalk to Old Navy and back. Three loops are equivalent to three miles/5K.
- Parking: There will be ample parking throughout Evergreen Walk. The most convenient parking is in Lot O, near LL Bean.
- When: This Saturday, June 1. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race will officially begin at 8:30 a.m.
- How: You can register online or in person. Special rates are available for CHR employees.
- Extra Special: Evergreen Walk is a dog-friendly venue! Also, all participants will receive a goodie-bag including coupons from vendors at Evergreen Walk.
It’s not too late to join the fun! Volunteers, runners, and walkers are still welcome!
