CHR is a 2025 Nonprofit Top Workplaces Winner!

Nonprofit behavioral healthcare provider Community Health Resources (CHR) recently secured a third national recognition as a 2025 Nonprofit Top Workplace! For this honor, CHR is among an elite group of 34 nonprofits nationwide, in the category of 500-999 employees, who achieved this accolade. Findings are based on anonymous employee surveys administered by Energage, the HR research and technology firm behind the Top Workplaces program.
Earlier this spring, CHR was also honored as a USA TODAY Top Workplace and named one of America’s Greatest Midsized Workplaces 2025 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group.
“I am so proud of our employees for making CHR a thriving and positive workplace,” said Heather Gates, CHR’s President and CEO. “It’s their dedication and compassion that makes CHR such a successful organization and a force for good in the communities we serve,” she said.
The nonprofit recognition is among the Top Workplaces’ industry-specific awards that celebrate organizations that have built people-first workplace cultures within their sector.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
