At CHR, our mission is to provide Real Life and Real Hope to everyone we cross paths with. Part of that mission is to give hope to those dealing with domestic violence because everybody deserves to feel safe in their home. We work with victims of domestic abuse primarily through our Family Violence Education Program.

Domestic violence is a cruel cycle that continually hurts and fractures families. We work with families of domestic violence through our Family Violence Education Program, providing intensive clinical and case management services. The program focuses on increasing safety in the home, reducing trauma, and improving relationships between parents and children. The services we provide are primarily in-home services and they work to help all family members, from survivors, young and old as well as the offender.

Another part of the program is helping non-offending family members and children create a stable and healthy life after overcoming abuse. Overall, we are seeking to lessen the impact and scope of domestic violence through the power of education. After immediate safety concerns are addressed, we work with families to develop a plan and forge ahead a path for hope.
