  • For your safety and convenience, many of our services are now available through telehealth and telephonic care. To schedule an appointment through telehealth, please call us at 1-877-884-3571.

If you prefer to see your clinician in person, we will be offering expanded hours this summer! Please carefully review the list below as schedules vary by location.

For Adults:

  • Manchester, Enfield, Danielson & Willimantic Urgent Care/Open Access appointments will be available as of July 6, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Walks-in are welcome.
  • Manchester Adult Outpatient Clinics, including IOPs and groups, will be available as of July 6, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Enfield Adult Outpatient Clinics, including IOPs and groups, will be available as of July 13, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Bloomfield Adult Outpatient Clinics, including IOPs and groups, will be available as of July 20, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Willimantic and Danielson Adult Outpatient Clinics, including IOPs and groups, will be available as of July 20, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Enfield Family Medicine Practice will resume in-person care as of July 6, 2020, on Mondays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

For Children and Families

  • As of July 6, Manchester and Enfield Child and Family Outpatient appointments will be available on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • As of July 20, Mansfield Child and Family Outpatient appointments will be available on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • As of July 27, East Hartford and Bloomfield Child and Family Outpatient appointments will be available on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A Healthy Environment

When the time comes for you to visit a CHR location, please know we are taking every step to protect your health through enhanced cleaning, health screenings for all visitors, and adherence to all CDC guidelines. This includes:

  • When you come in for your appointment, you’ll receive a brief health screening and we will take your temperature.
  • We’ve made adjustments in our clinics to encourage social distancing.
  • All of our staff are wearing masks, for your safety, and you will be asked to wear a mask as well.

Making the call is a first step for individuals or families living with behavioral, emotional and/or substance use problems.

The CHR Assessment Center offers a single point of contact to readily understand the best treatment and support options available.

Qualified professionals answer the phone and–together with the caller–determine available options and next steps. Our staff assists in scheduling initial appointments, providing directions, answering questions and following up to ensure a smooth transition into services. When calling CHR’s Assessment Center you can count on experienced staff ready to listen.

Making The Call

In a crisis, CHR provides support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Assessment Center offers phone support and mobile emergency teams who travel directly to the person in need to provide intervention, stabilization and access to hospitalization when necessary. For a child in crisis, dial 2-1-1.

In a non-emergency situation, for information about CHR services or to schedule an initial appointment, the Assessment Center team is available: Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m.– 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

CHR accepts referrals from parents, guardians, family members and friends. We take referrals from schools, hospitals, private providers, primary care physicians, pediatricians, community agencies and emergency service personnel, to name a few. We also welcome self-referrals.

CHR accepts Medicaid, HUSKY, Medicare and most major health insurances as partial or full payment for services. At CHR, no one is turned away because of inability to pay for services. For your convenience, we offer a sliding fee discount schedule.

Assessment Center

El Centro de evaluación de CHR ofrece un único punto de contacto para comprender de inmediato cuáles son las opciones de tratamiento y apoyo disponibles más adecuadas.

Profesionales idóneos responden el teléfono y, junto con la persona que llama, determinan las opciones disponibles y los pasos a seguir. Nuestro personal presta ayuda para programar las primeras citas, dar indicaciones, responder preguntas y hacer el seguimiento para garantizar que la transición a los servicios se haga sin contratiempos. Cuando llama al Centro de evaluación de CHR, puede contar con personal con experiencia listo para escuchar.

En una crisis, CHR brinda apoyo las 24 horas del día, los 365 días del año. El Centro de evaluación ofrece apoyo telefónico y equipos móviles de emergencia que se trasladan directamente hasta donde está la persona que requiere intervención terapéutica, estabilización y acceso a la hospitalización cuando es necesario. Si un niño está en crisis, disque 2-1-1.

En una situación que no reviste emergencia, para obtener información sobre los servicios de CHR o para programar una primera cita, el equipo del Centro de evaluación está disponible de lunes a jueves, de 8 a. m. a 6 p. m., y los viernes, de 8 a. m. a 5 p. m.

CHR acepta derivaciones de padres, tutores, familiares y amigos. Aceptamos derivaciones de escuelas, hospitales, proveedores privados, médicos de atención primaria, pediatras, organismos comunitarios y personal de los servicios de emergencia, entre otros. También aceptamos autoderivaciones.

CHR acepta Medicaid, HUSKY, Medicare y la mayoría de los seguros de salud principales como pago parcial o total por los servicios.
