CHR has been working to help people suffering from addiction, mental health issues, homelessness, and trauma for over 60 years. We have a staff of over 800 experienced individuals with expertise in therapy, psychiatry, medicine, caregiving, and more. Last year (2020), CHR helped over 27,000 clients, many of whom sought help for addiction.

During the pandemic, addiction continues to rise. In Connecticut, residents are coping more than ever with drugs and alcohol. Services include outpatient, residential treatment programs, and intervention and pre-trial programs. We even offer a center for only women and women and children.
