The Reconnecting Families Program works to re-unify children (to age 17) who have been removed from their families due to abuse and neglect. The program assists families with the development of knowledge, skills and resources to avoid further chances of mistreatment of their children. Children and their families are referred to this program through the Department of Children and Families.
