Spots Still Available for CHR Golf Tournament, May 24

 

ENFIELD/BLOOMFIELD (May 10, 2010) –Community Health Resources’ highly anticipated Benefit Golf Tournament is quickly approaching, and spots are still available for interested golfers. The event will take place Monday, May 24, 2010, at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, CT. Among those participating will be K.C. Jones, the legendary basketball star who played for the Boston Celtics from 1958 to 1967. Jones went on to become a successful coach and was elected into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1989.
 
Registration for the Golf Tournament will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch at
11:30 a.m., and a shot-gun start at 12:30 p.m. The cost to participate is $150 per golfer, including lunch, 18 holes of golf with carts, an open practice range, exclusive raffle and auction prizes, including a custom set of PING golf clubs and Yankees vs. Red Sox baseball tickets; a putting contest; an exciting hole-in-one car contest sponsored by Carter Chevrolet/Mazda of Manchester, dinner following the tournament, and more. Those who do not wish to golf but would like to join in the festivities are welcome to attend the dinner at a cost of $35 per person.
 
Proceeds of the Golf Tournament will benefit CHR’s mental health and addiction treatment programs to help people lead healthier, happier lives. Corporate sponsorships are available at a variety of levels.
