· Provide a safe, home-like atmosphere for children in the program.
· Work within program policy and guidelines to provide program services.
· Support routines of children through assisting and supervising wake-up, bedtime, personal care routines, meals, meal preparation, recreational activities, homework, supervision and assistance, etc.
· Identify needs and arrange for care of those needs.
· Transport, when necessary to school, family visits and appointments.
· Care for program facilities, equipment.
· Supervise children’s visits with families.
· Initiate recreational and program activities.
· Document observation of children and assess children’s skills and moods.
