We have 2 openings, one 3pm-11pm Sunday thru Thursday and the other 3pm-11pm Tuesday thru Sunday

Perform management & teaching of activities of daily living & life skills to chronically mentally ill adult population transitioning from various treatment facilities, with goal of preparing residents for independent living.
    Monitor medications of all residents, assuring proper medications & dosages are prescribed & taken by residents.
    Chart residents status in client log & read previous entries.
    Intervene in crisis situations of residents.
    Transport & accompany clients for medical appointments, errands, recreational activities.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree required or two years of college AND two years of applicable work experience in lieu of a bachelors degree.  General knowledge of chronic & persistent mental illness & associated behaviors, and of mental health service system delivery.
    General knowledge of medications used to treat mental illness, their usefulness & side effects.
    Skill in managing & supporting clients with chronic & persistent mental illness and managing & assessing crisis situations.
    Skill in teaching activities of daily living & life skills.
    Skill in recording data accurately & in writing narrative reports.
    Driver's license required
