ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
·         Plan for Division coordination/development
            -Take initiative and/or participate in organizational program development activities
                    -Take initiative and/or participate in writing grants/budgets, securing funding, etc.
                    -Oversee program development activities within Division
               
·         Perform administrative tasks associated with daily operation of services/programs
   -Ensure that policies/procedures are developed, approved, and followed
-Ensure that budgets are adhered to and that program managers have needed tools/information
                   -Ensure regulatory compliance for all programs
-Ensure that management requests for information/data are responded to and assist program             management in receiving and utilizing the information and data
                    -Complete administrative tasks in a timely and high quality manner
 
·         Clinical oversight/risk management/quality improvement
 -Provide overall clinical/program supervision within Division
                 -Identify areas of risk and ensure that there are procedures to minimize risk
                 -Ensure that basic documentation processes for client care are carried out properly
                   -Initiate and/or participate in agency-wide quality improvement efforts
                  - Demonstrate competency in age-related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each                                             population served.
 
·         Staff competency
-Ensure that all staff members working within Division are evaluated and are competent
   -Ensure that basic training requirements are met by all staff within the Division
                   -Participate in developing an annual training plan and assessing staff knowledge needs
 
·         Community responsiveness
                   -Respond to feedback/complaints from clients, families, community members, and providers
-Ensure that staff members in the Division are responsive to requests for information/assistance
                   -Attend meetings, events in the community as indicated
                   -Attend meetings of professional organizations, funding sources, etc as indicated
 
·         General management activities
-Participate in Sr. Management and Operations management meetings
                   -Participate in CHR committees, work groups, and improvement activities
                   -Perform other duties as assigned
 
 
 
 

Minimum Requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
·         5-10 years of relevant clinical and/or program experience, primarily with the population to be served within the Division (All levels of substance abuse prevention and treatment). Progressive Management experience is required.
·         Master’s degree, or above, required
·         Certification or Licensure required
·         Successful experience managing substance abuse treatment systems
·         Experience in treating people with behavioral health issues
·         Experience in a community behavioral health setting a plus                                    
·         Demonstrated leadership skill
·         Commitment to developing new service models and using outcomes data in making decisions
-      A passion for recovery oriented care.
