 Residential Counselor -16 Hours Mills House
Part-Time
Description
Mills house is looking for a 16 hour Residential Counselor to support its group home for adolescent boys.
-Provides Clients with direct assistance and training with ADL’s;
-Assists and supports clients in maintaining clean, safe, uncluttered living space.
-Provides direct on-site supervision of Clients;
-Does regular check-ins with clients in their programs to ensure safety and health standards;
-Completes all documentation in a thorough and timely manner;
-Additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Minimum Requirements
-Bachelors in human services or related field. Two yrs. Experience working with individuals with serious and persistent illness;
-Experience working with adolescents/young adults, preferred;
-Knowledge of PPT/IEP;
-Demonstrated understanding of issues facing youths in transition;
-Knowledge of basic DBT skills training model;
-Good verbal and written skills;
-Driver's license required;
